FLYING WHALES is an extraordinary industrial adventure.

We design today and we will build and operate tomorrow a fleet of airships, the LCA60T, intended for cargo transport. Capable of loading and unloading up to 60 tons of cargo (wood, wind turbine blades, containers, mobile hospitals, etc.) in hovering flight, with a reduced environmental footprint, this transport system is unprecedented.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Safety and Quality Systems Engineer who will work on the development of the Safety Management System and Quality Management System of FLYING WHALES SERVICES and will ensure various missions in an international context

Mission

YOUR MISSIONS :

Within the Quality Department, the role of the Safety Management System & quality engineer of Flying Whales Services has the main mission of structuring and developing the safety management system (SMS) and the quality management system (QMS) of the company Flying Whales Services, future operator of the LCA60T and its pilot training school.

Your main missions will be:

•         Implementation of the SMS, and the associated documentation, the ATO then the AOC to guarantee the highest level of security.

•         Participates in risk analysis activities (bow-tie analyses) of operational security analysis scenarios (SORA) to ensure the consideration and deployment of identified operational barriers.

•         Implementation of the FWS quality management system and associated documentation.

•         Implements the processes and associated process card in order to define and monitor the relevant KPIs

•         Implements internal audits and monitors action plans.

•         Participates in quality management reviews

Profil

YOUR EDUCATION & EXPERIENCES :

In order to meet these missions, the expected profile is as follows:

•         At least 3 years of experience in a similar role

•         Engineering diploma or equivalent diploma in aeronautics required, preferably supplemented by a master’s degree in quality or airworthiness.

•         Experience in dealing with Civil Aviation Authorities is a plus

•         Knowledge of flight operations (CAT, SPO, others) strongly recommended.

YOUR SKILLS :

•         Familiar with bow-ties

•         Familiar with EASA AirOps regulations and EN9100

•         Ability to understand the specifics of airship operations

•         Ability to negotiate with authorities on complex subjects.

•         Comfortable in preparing documents, reports and compliance items for authorities

•         Experience in carrying out audits

•         Familiar with the aeronautical safety environment (Safety Management System).

 

YOUR QUALITIES:

•         A strong team member with very good communication skills.

•         Analytical and solution-oriented

•         Ability to work in a dynamic international environment

•         Passionate and enthusiastic.

•         Fluent in English, C1 level should be considered the standard.

•         MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

•         Management tool, such as 3DX.
